For more than 25 years, Oliver Esser from the district of Düren has lived in Myanmar. The cook, hotelier and environmentalist, who was born in Hürtgenwald in North Rhine-Westphalia, has also repeatedly helped Artemed Stiftung in recent years, because he knows the country and its complicated political circumstances like the back of his hand.
