On May 13, 2019, Michael Kneis, the representative of the Artemed Stiftung branch in Myanmar, and Dr. Veronika Hofmann met with Dr. Khin Maung in Nay Pyi Daw. There the long prepared Memorandum of Understanding with the Burmese Ministry of Health was signed. The Artemed Stiftung is now an official cooperation partner, which will facilitate future staff assignments, especially in government facilities such as the hospital in Bogale.
