Almost 40 people came together last Saturday, March 30, 2019 in bright sunshine at the Artemed Fachklinik in Munich for the 4th Delta Docs meeting. Once a year, Artemed Stiftung, Stiftung life and the Amara Foundation and their participants and organizers exchange information about the events, successes and problems of the work in the Irrawaddy Delta on their floating clinics. Patient numbers are also discussed and plans for future-oriented and comprehensive projects are initiated.

In exciting presentations, individual participants report on their time in Myanmar and the impressions they gathered. Solveig Groß reported on her time in Bogale Hospital, Heino Hügel on the sometimes serious skin diseases in the delta and Joe Draws on the possibilities of communication between doctors for consultations in special cases in the Irrawaddy Delta.

The three foundations will continue to work closely together in the coming year in order to capitalize on the successes of the cooperation and further advance the region in the area of healthcare.
