The joy of reunion was great when Dr. Benjamin Behar, Dr. Veronika Hofmann and Frank Löscher arrived in Bolivia at the beginning of March. The German team was in La Paz for a very specific reason: Artemed Stiftung handed over a new ambulance to the Hospital Arco Iris.

The funds for this were collected at the last Friends of Artemed Stiftung ball in November 2018 and donated to the foundation for this purpose. The large and well-equipped bus can now reach many children on the streets of La Paz and provide them with healthcare. The new vehicle replaces an old ambulance that was no longer roadworthy due to years of use. The Bolivian team around the Hospital Arco Iris inaugurated the new ambulance vehicle with a festive ceremony.
