In order to improve the infrastructure of the Irrawaddy River Doctors infrastructure, extensive construction work is currently taking place at our base in Bogale. On the one hand, a road directly to the site is currently being built that can be used by cars. Previously, it was only connected to the main road by a simple dirt track, which made the delivery of materials in particular very laborious, as all goods had to be carried several hundred meters to the site by hand.

A new jetty for the boat and a stable and robust bank reinforcement will also be built to prevent future damage from flooding and erosion during the rainy season.
