The MS Futura, one of the two medical ships operating in the Irrawaddy Delta in Myanmar , is celebrating its 100th mission this month! Since the medical service began with the “Swimming Doctors 3” in November 2016, many challenges have been overcome and healthcare has been provided to countless people.

This success would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors and the tireless dedication of our medical and nursing team, as well as the captain and his crew. Together, they provide care to approximately 1,500 patients each month.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our donors. Your support enables us to continue this vital medical work in a country where the government is failing to meet its responsibilities, and where the population is growing increasingly impoverished, with many people barely able to afford the bare necessities of life, medication, and medical treatment.
