The political situation in Myanmar (see article) means that more and more people are trying to leave the country. Many people have therefore been accommodated in various refugee camps.
The Irrawaddy River Doctors were asked to help the refugees in the Wetinpauk village refugee camp and provide them with medical care. Our doctors and nurses have therefore packed up their equipment and medicines and set off again. With tireless commitment, they are now providing care for women, men and children who would otherwise be without any medical help.
