From the very beginning, the training and further education of specialists has been one of the most important pillars of our work at Artemed Stiftung. In the long term, local people should be able to solve their own challenges, and our task is to empower them to do so. We therefore regularly award scholarships to particularly talented employees who we believe can later be a great support in their specialist area.

After three years of training as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics, Dr. Masanja Kasoga is now returning to the St. Walburg`s Hospital back. His current deputy, Dr. Francis Msagati, is leaving for Dar Es Salaam to complete his specialist training in internal medicine over the next three years. Better knowledge in this specialist field is also urgently needed St. Walburg`s Hospital in order to be able to treat patients adequately.

After completing her studies, Dr. Msagati has committed to staying in the St. Walburg`s Hospital for at least five years. We are very pleased about the further professionalization in our team.
