On September 8, Dr. Amir H. Bigdeli, specialist in radiology, and Annika Rethmeier, MTRA, both from the Surgical Hospital Munich South, travelled to Nyangao. Once there, they were warmly welcomed at St. Walburg’s Hospital . They were then given a tour of the radiology equipment and an overview of the current standards. Both Dr. Bigdeli and Ms. Rethmeier took care of the optimization in radiology. In addition, Dr. Bigdeli trained the staff on site on the subject of "ultrasound". This new knowledge was then immediately applied to a small patient.
