On May 14, 2019, a first workshop was held in Yangon together with Jochen Seefried, the initiator of I.N.G.E., to discuss the possibilities of prevention work in the Irrawaddy Delta. The participants included employees from Artemed Stiftung and Meikswe Myanmara Burmese organization with extensive experience in prevention work and village development. In the next step, the first villages on the route of the Irrawaddy River Doctors will be selected for a pilot project and a detailed concept will be drawn up. We are very pleased about the cooperation.
