Clubfoot project Tanzania

Tanzania, the East African country with a population of around 60 million, has one of the highest birth rates in the world - 36 births per 1,000 inhabitants. But with every new life comes challenges: Every year, over 2,400 babies are born with clubfoot in Tanzania.
Clubfoot is a condition that is fully treatable thanks to the Ponseti method. However, without access to medical care, affected children are at risk of permanent disabilities that can have a decisive impact on their lives. Poverty prevents many parents in Tanzania from financing the simple but effective treatment for their children.
Especially in the Lindi region, where St. Walburg’s Hospital is located, many people are affected by extreme poverty, which is why we want to support the families and give the affected children a better future.
With just €500, a child with a clubfoot can be treated at St. Walburg’s Hospital - and start a life without limitations.
Please help to give children a better future. Your support makes all the difference!
