Following intensive planning between the administration of Bogale Hospital, the township administrator, and the Irrawaddy River Doctors , a significant medical cooperation project was successfully implemented. The goal of this joint initiative is to strengthen medical care in remote regions once a year and provide patients in need with free treatment by qualified medical staff.
Since February 16 and 17 were public holidays, a last-minute opportunity arose to carry out this mission in the village of Gadon, located about six hours from Bogale. This joint effort was a great success for healthcare in Gadon Village. Thanks to the close and trusting collaboration with the hospital director and the township administrator, many people received medical care, and relationships with local authorities were strengthened in the long term. This cooperation provides a solid foundation for the project’s future work and for supporting the population throughout the region.
