Tablets as an Easter gift for the Street Doctors

Shortly before Easter, the Street Doctors in Bolivia were visited by three Artemed employees in order to once again have a personal exchange with all employees, to set the course for the future together and, of course, to introduce new colleagues to the Artemed Stiftung and clinics. In addition to Stefanie Kolada, Managing Director of the Benedictus Hospital Feldafing, who has known the Street Doctors for two years and accompanies them as an ambassador in the Artemed Clinic Group, Benedikt Lenz, Project Manager of the Artemed Stiftung , was in La Paz for the first time, as was Tim Steckel, member of the Group Management of the Artemed Clinics.

These were intensive days with many impressions, during which the three celebrated the "Dia del Nino" with the Street Doctors (we reported) and accompanied the medical team in the three ambulances on their routes to street children who are left to fend for themselves, to a youth prison and to a school with around 1,000 pupils in El Alto; all children and young people who live in the slums there.

As a gift, they brought the Street Doctors six new tablets, which were donated by the Society for Digital Education and will be a great help to the team, e.g. to be able to correctly record and evaluate the data of the countless young patients. The previous devices are barely functional due to their age. Thanks to the new tablets, software can now be introduced in the coming months to record patient data - not in simple Excel lists as before - but with patient management and evaluations, which will make it possible to obtain an overview of the health data of each individual patient and thus adapt and optimize medical treatment individually.

A big thank you to all those who support our work in the Foundation's projects so intensively with their personal commitment and donations!

We wish you a Happy Easter.
