Thereby 70 % were general patients (1379) and 30 % and came to visit the dental clinic. We checked total number of 91 pregnancy women and did laboratory test for 70 women. And total number of 322 children under 16 year visited for medical check-ups, medical and dental treatment.Total deworming number for November was 198.
For November trip, our team continued to provid medical treatment for all 14 villages. The most reasons for visits were Malaria and Dengue. Others came to get help concerning Hepatitis, Syphilis, HIV, diabetes mellitus, coughing, respiratory infection, disease of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. In the dental Clinic, we treated patients with dental caries, periodontitis, gingivitis, sometimes oral ulcer and tongue ulcer.
As planned, we restarted our health and dental education progamm in the schools. We visited two schools and sharied information about Dengue fever and Diarrhea as well as dental problems. We tought them how to protect from different infections and how to clean themselves in a proper way. Toothbrush and toothpaste as well as mosquito repellent lotion and soap were distributed. All teachers thanked us for sharing knowledge and they invited us to come again.
In this trip, we got more patients than the last month because we added two villages as well as the schools. Now, our doctors and and the staff returned to home for their one-week holidays.
For my conclusion, I would like to thanks to Artemed Stiftung foundation for your continue support and love for Myanmar. We hope you know the situation of Myanmar well. Please pray for Myanmar and our team.
With Best Regards,
Su Su @ Myanmar
